When LeiLani first began her career in Film and T.V. in 1990, the corrective makeup industry was non-existent, the cosmetic industry focused on glamour. As a Cosmetic Designer for Film and T.V. and Certified as a Paramedical Makeup and Tattoo Specialist, LeiLani could not find existing products to meet her needs. She entered her first entrepreneurial venture and developed a revolutionary Skin Care Cover Foundation.
A foundation that aids in pre and post surgical procedures.

Since inception of this specialty product, expansion was inevitable; LeiLani was working closely with Burn, Trauma and Cancer survivors volunteering her time to teach patients with challenging skin conditions and needed more products.

Trained in L.A., she brings 23 years experience to her clients. LeiLani is one of few in Canada that specializes in the field of Paramedical Makeup, Skin Needling, Scar and Areola Re-pigmentation Tattooing.
LeiLani has been awarded Women of Excellence, The Most Remarkable Women and was also recognized for Women of Distinction. LeiLani spends time mentoring others or speaking at makeup schools.

Founder of “Face the Future,” a volunteer program where LeiLani teaches Burn, Trauma and Cancer patients how to camouflage post surgical conditions, scarring or burns along with wig styling in private consultations using her products, and procedures.

Partners with the Vancouver Firefighters Burn Fund sweet LeiLani Cosmetics is the sole sponsor for the Adult Healing Support Circle and is the host for the annual Adult Burn Survivor Day Spa. Her team also volunteers at the Kid’s Burn Camp in Squamish every summer.

As a Camouflage Makeup and Tattoo Specialist, LeiLani is highly recognized in the medical community not only for her volunteer work, but more importantly for boosting the self esteem and confidence of those suffering silently from challenging skin conditions.
